EMDR Intensives

EMDR Intensives can produce faster results than weekly sessions, because therapy is concentrated and highly focused. This model allows you to process more information in a shorter period of time without schedule interruptions and can reduce the need for long-term, ongoing therapy. Research shows that the Intensive format is as effective as meeting weekly. When it comes to your treatment and wellbeing, you have options to get the support you need when you need it the most.

The goal of EMDR treatment is to rapidly metabolize the dysfunctional residue from the past and transform it into something useful.

EMDR INTENSIVES

Unfortunately, insurance companies do not cover the cost of Intensives. For in-person Intensives, you do not have to be a resident of Maryland. For virtual Intensives, you must be located in Maryland at the time of the Intensive. Multi-day sessions are also available.

  • Half-Day 3-hour Intensive starts at $650

  • Full-Day 6-hour Intensive starts at $1200

ADJUNCT EMDR

If you already have a therapist, Adjunct EMDR Therapy does not replace that work, but it is supplemental to it. Adjunct EMDR Therapy is typically conducted in an Intensive format or in a short span of weekly sessions. This might be right for you if there is a clearly-defined need, and an added intervention could help accelerate your progress and enrich your ongoing therapeutic work.

Your EMDR Intensive Includes:

  1. Consultation Interview to assess for candidacy, explore symptoms, and to identify goals.

  2. Individual Preparation allows you to get the most out of your Intensive.

  3. Customized Treatment Program with treatment goals specific to your individualized needs.

  4. Post-Treatment Follow-Up to support your adaptation to positive changes from treatment.

  5. Supplemental Resources are included with full-day and multi-day Intensives.
